Obituary:
Elizabeth B. Roque, of Naples, and Saunderstown, Rhode Island, died on February 6, 2010.
Elizabeth was educated by the Sisters of the Notre Dame de Mours and then received her Bachelor's degree from Emmanuel College in Boston. She received her Master's degree in Library Science from University of Rhode Island and was employed at Warwick Veterans High School in Warwick, RI for 17 years.
She was a member of Lakewood Country Club in Naples and the Plum Beach Club in Rhode Island for many years. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 66 years, Dr. John Roque, and her children, Elizabeth (James) McDonald, Esq., Martha (Dr. Edward) Palank, Mary (Thomas) Flaminio, John (Kathy) Roque Jr., 10 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children Joseph and Catherine. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, from 2-3:30pm at Fuller Funeral Home, 4735 Tamiami Trail East with a prayer service at 3:30pm. Funeral services will be held at the Peter Barrett Funeral Home in Warwick, RI with interment in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston, RI.
