Obituary:
Mildred (Ware) “Midge” Walker, 85 of Naples, Florida died peacefully surrounded by her family on February 25, 2010.

She was born in Paterson, New Jersey on August 4, 1924 to Robert L. and Emma L. (Glaser) Ware. During WW II, Midge worked for Pratt-Whitney Aero Dynamics, as her contribution toward the war efforts.

Formerly of Glen Rock, New Jersey, Midge has resided in Naples since 1968. She is a member of Trinity-By-The-Cove Episcopal Church; Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR); Naples Community Hospital Auxiliary and volunteered as a secretary at Trinity-By-The-Cove. Before her retirement, she worked as marketing director for the First National Bank of Naples for many years.

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey L. (Terry) Hall of Madison, NJ; two nieces, Paula (Ronald J., Jr.) Starr, Lisbeth Van Wyk (Wayne Cottrell) both of Naples, two nephews, Robert B. (Laurie) Ware of Milton, VT and David C. (Karen) Ware of Costa Rica, great niece, Jennifer K Perez and great nephew, Ronald J. (Meagan) Starr, III, great-great nieces and nephews, Ronald, IV, Madison, Alyssia, Polo, Emma, Jamie and Ethan. Also survived by many dear friends. Midge was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Walker and her soul-mate, Lloyd C. Andersen.

A memorial service and celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 16th at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity-By-The-Cove, 553 Galleon Dr, Naples, FL 34102. The Rev. Michael Basden, Rector and Rev. Dr. Harold Brown will officiate. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Inurnment will be private. A reception will follow at the Parish Hall. “Fly, Mimi, Fly!” We love you.
