William Zuck Jr., 79, of Naples, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 10, 2010.
Born January 31, 1931 in Bayonne, New Jersey, he was married to the former Barbara Letwinovich for 54 years and resided in Wayne, New Jersey until retiring from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 1986 and moving to Naples. William was a former Commander of the Legion of Honor at Salaam Temple, Livingston, NJ. They attended St. Demetrius Orthodox Church, Naples.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara, of Naples; three daughters, Karen Matthews of Long Beach, CA, Larissa Altieri of Naples and Susan Merhige of Midland Park, NJ; seven grandchildren; his sister, Dorothy Poladin of Toms River, NJ and brother, Fred Zuck of Naples.
The family will receive friends Monday, March 15, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Fuller Funeral Home, 1625 Pine Ridge Rd. with a service to be held at 3:00 p.m.
He was a veteran of the Korean War so he will be laid to rest with military honors at the General Boyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
